The Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council ("CMSC") was formed in 1957 with the purpose of serving member clubs through the promotion, support, and furtherance of skiing and other snow sports.
CMSC offers member clubs the opportunity to participate in council sponsored Ski/Snowboard Trips (Europe, Chicago Week & Winter Carnival), Races, Club Instructors Clinic (learn to teach), Trip Seminar (bringing clubs and trip related vendors together), Ski Shows, and other club related activities.
CMSC General meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. at a new location Sawa’s Old Warsaw located at 9200 Cermak Road, Broadview, IL 60155. Check out their web site at www.sawasoldwarsaw.com for: driving directions and to view their dinner menu and facility.
