It’s Picnic Time!
The Sanctuary Ski and Snowboard Club’s annual summer picnic will be Saturday, July 15th at Bemis Woods, Grove #5—located on the north side of Ogden Avenue between Wolf Road and I-294.
Members are FREE; guests are $10.
The picnic starts at noon and will go until dusk. There will be lots of food, beverages, games and a raffle.
Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20,
PLUS, each person can earn up to 2 FREE raffle tickets:
- Bring your own reusable cup and receive 1 free raffle ticket
- Bring a dessert and receive 1 free raffle ticket
GAMES will be organized by Amy and Brian. Get ready to have fun and compete in these popular challenges: Coconut Race, Three-Legged Race, Hula Hoop Contest, Water Balloon Toss, Limbo Contest and…a Tug of War!
Start the fun early! The PRE-PICNIC BIKE RIDE is back!! All are welcome. It will be a slow(ish) roll. Meet in the picnic parking lot (Bemis Woods, Grove #5) at 9:45am. We’ll ride at 10:00am—doing a total of 13.2 miles on the paved, shady Salt Creek Trail. We'll be back to the picnic area by noon. Maureen and Ed will lead and sweep.
